Through Kappa Phi Lambda, our collective body can accomplish our shared goals and vision in numbers. We believe in striving and upholding our virtues as a group where we can continue to make meaningful impact across campuses and beyond. Although it is difficult to describe, the bond of sisterhood is a common light that burns passionately in each sister. We embrace a unique relationship based on friendship, respect, and a shared vision. Wherever we go, and no matter how long ago we joined Kappa Phi Lambda, each sister is connected and important to the sorority. With a network of sisters spanning across the globe, we can find comfort in knowing that Kappa Phi Lambda extends so much further beyond our own universities! Each semester, active Chapters and Associate Chapters recruit new classes of sisters to join Kappa Phi Lambda through rush and a New Member Process. This process secures our continued growth, expansion and instills our deep-held values into potential new members who continue our legacy.

Friendship

It is hard to develop lasting relationships between classes, internships, and work. Being part of Kappa Phi Lambda provides sisters with a platform to develop lifelong bonds, as we are dedicated to finding opportunities to spend time with each other – whether it is during sisterhood retreats or other events. Many sisters remain close after graduation, becoming each other’s roommates, mentors and even co-workers.

Active and Alumna Sisters attend virtual and in-person social, service and cultural events before and after graduation.

Home Away from Home

College is an exciting new time in which many of us get to experience our first taste of life away from home, but as exciting as it is, it can also get a little overwhelming. Kappa Phi Lambda will not only be a supportive community for sisters to root themselves during their college years, but also a great foundation for this next chapter of their life with endless opportunities to network and create lifelong memories with sisters across the nation!

Celebrating Milestones

Sisters celebrate each others’ personal, academic and professional milestones. We continue to give back to the next generation of Sisters through through our Diamond Scholarships that recognize high achieving sisters nationally and the Kappa Relief Fund that helps sisters in need.

Personal Growth

While social life is a large part of joining a sorority, there’s much more to Kappas. Our organization was founded with the vision of being a culturally sound and educationally inspiring community where sisters can prosper and maintain academic excellence. Many of our sisters have discovered new passions and career paths through talking with older members from their own or other chapters. Kappas can be another valuable resource as sisters pursue their academic and professional goals in college and beyond!
